Born near Pride, KY April 1, 1930 to the parents of Guy T. Fulcher and Dovie L. Sutton. I was the youngest child. I had one sister and three brothers.
I do not remember living near Pride, KY. We moved from Pride to Clay, KY, it was there I first began to remember.
In 1937 we moved to Cedar Grove and from Cedar Grove to Tilden, KY., in 1941. It was from Tilden we moved to Henderson, KY. It was in Henderson that I spent most of my teenage years.
I became a Christian at a very early age and united with the Henderson General Baptist in Henderson, KY.
April 11, 1948, I began preaching and was licensed by the Presbytery of Union Association October 14, 1948; ordained to the full work of the ministry October 23, 1949 at the Henderson church, Henderson, KY.
I have pastored the following churches: New Macedonia, Daviess County, Beech Grove, Caldwell County, The First General Baptist Church of Madisonville, KY. Pastoredthe Shady Grove General Baptist Church at Poole, KY for 25 years, filled in as pastor of the Union Hill Church in Henderson County, Green's Chapel General Baptist Church in Muhlenberg County, near Greenville, KY, Little Zion General Baptist Church near Dixon, KY, Tilden General Baptist Church in Tilden, KY, at present full time pastor of Free Union General Baptist Church near Dixon, KY.
In 1958, I graduated from Oakland City College (Oakland City University now). Graduate work at Western State University and Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY, Murray State of Murray, KY.
A teacher in the Webster County School System for 30 years until retiring in 1989.
Married Corrine Welborn on July 16, 1956 and have one daughter, Christy, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
I was listed in Who's Who in Religion, Second Edition (1977) Marquis Publications.
Have resided in Poole, KY since 1954 when I came to pastor Shady Grove General Baptist Church.
